Frequently asked questions.

Puppy Duty Detectives – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I pay?
Payment is processed through our secure client portal. Once paid, invoices are automatically generated after each service, and you’ll receive receipts for each transaction.

Note:
To ensure service, please link your card to your account by your first scheduled service date. If your card isn’t connected by that time, we will attempt to reach you, but if we’re unable to confirm payment, we’ll need to reschedule your cleanup to the next available date. Should you need assistance linking your card, we’re happy to help.

Do you bill monthly?
Yes, we bill monthly on the date of your initial service each month. Payments are required ahead of time to secure your spot on our service schedule. For first-time or one-time cleanups, payment is due upon completion.

Example:
If your service starts on the 15th, your card will be billed monthly on the 15th for the upcoming month’s service. This ensures you’re consistently covered without any interruptions in service.

What time will you arrive at my home?
Our routes run daily from 8:00 a.m. until dusk, but we can’t offer exact arrival times to maintain efficient routes and keep rates low. You’ll receive a text notification about 15-30 minutes before our arrival. If you’re early in our route, expect a 10-15 minute notice. We’re careful not to disturb early morning routines, so your service day will remain consistent each week. If we ever need to adjust your service day, we’ll notify you in advance.

Do I need to be home when you clean?
No, you don’t need to be home. Just ensure that we have clear access to your gate for a smooth, efficient cleanup.

Do you disinfect your equipment to prevent the spread of germs?
Yes! At Puppy Duty Detectives, health and safety are priorities. We thoroughly disinfect all tools and footwear with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs between yards.

Do you take the waste with you?
No, we place the waste in your trash bin after cleanup. If your trash bin isn’t accessible, we’ll double or triple-bag the waste for a clean and contained disposal and leave it next to your gate.

With these FAQs, we hope to provide clarity and make your experience with Puppy Duty Detectives as seamless as possible!
